Q: Why play chess
?
A: There is a couple of reasons why you (and your kids) would want
to play chess:
- Chess is a game for all ages
- Chess helps develop memory
- Chess improves concentration
- Chess develops logical thinking
- Chess helps with the development of the imagination and creativity
- Chess teaches independence
- Chess teaches the abbility to see and predict the
concequences of your actions
- Chess inspires selfconfidence
- Chess shows that hard work are rewarded by success
- Chess helps with the development of scientific thinking
Q: Why chess at Mid-Gauteng?
A: There is no specific reason why you need to chess at Mid-Gauteng. You can use any of the unions that is the closest to you. You also don't need
to be affiliated to Mid-Gauteng to participate in any of our tournaments.
Q: Do I need to register with Mid-Gauteng?
A: There is no registration form to complete. When you enter for any of our tournaments we will have your contact details.
