02 May 2012	Attention: All 'Closed' Players! Dear Chess player/Parent Please note that CHESSA will unfortunately not be able to announce the junior players selected for international participation for this year by the original published deadline. We can, however, confirm that the selection process is well underway and all players will be announced by FRIDAY 5 MAY 2012. The cause for this delay is feedback received from our recent meeting with SASCOC, on Friday 20 April, which necessitated the selectors having to revisit certain selections. We understand your frustration as we all eagerly await the announcement of the junior SA players ourselves and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. We thank you for your patience.
